Tunnel Close - Both Holes?

SharkAttak go to Home Depot or Lowes. They have the material there. I used a piece of 12"x24"x.092" aluminum material and then got another piece to close in the side holes near the reflectors. I don't have any pics since my batteries in the digital went out and my charger is up North in Pittsbur. I will take pics tomorrow before we go out and then after we get back from riding.

I closed the hole last week and got to try it out this past weekend. Let me just start by saying last weekend we went away on a Wednesday night. We rode about 200 miles while we were gone and on Thursday my boots were a little damp. Friday still damp then Saturday I spent the day changing a set of fouled plugs so we only rode a little that night and they got drenched. Now on Sunday we won't even discuss it other than I would of been drier standing in a puddle rather than wearing my boots while riding the Phazer.

I closed the back hole and then the 2 side holes next to the bumper.

The next 2 pics of Sunday afternoon after we loaded the sleds back into the trailer to head home. After riding 160 miles with temps between 32-36 degrees this is definitely a keeper. The snow on the running board is from me not cleaning off my boot. No dripping on the edge of the tunnel and most of all no frozen ice or snow on the back of the foot boards. Now sure temps didn't drop enough to freeze anything up but the holes were blocked and didn't allow any snow to get up on the running boards to cause dangerous riding conditions. Since my 7 year old doubles with me while riding my feet are always on the back side if not close to the back side of the foot boards. So the riding is always dangerous because of the amount of ice that usually builds up on there. Also my feet were dry. Or really not 100% since my boots were still damp from last weekends riding conditions. So here are the pics of riding 160 miles for the weekend.
