Just some pics of the install. The header shield needed massaged a bit to fit. So did the pipe shield. I'll get a pic of the outlet under the sled and a pic with the muffler shield in place and post soon.

Thanks guys. Here's a pic of the muffler outlet and the heat shield installed. While the heat shield only has three bolts holding it in place (instead of the stock five), it seems very sturdy. We'll see if a few hundred miles changes that.

Thanks. Literally just talked to Mike at TD earlier today, and he recommended the upgraded fuel pump and regulator for Max Spool 17 and above, so I have those parts coming now. What is the benefit of running the a/f sensor and gauge? I understand from the forum that it's important, I just want to know why. Thank you.

the benefit is u can monitor the a/f ,especially at wot which should be at around 12.0 with the header and 3inch muffler , then u can adjust your fuel reg to add fuel pressure or decrease as needed to adjust your a/f # to be safe ,Thanks. Excellent. Thanks for the explanation and insight. Will be ordering that tomorrow.. Should just set TD up as a payroll deduction they're taking so much of my money lol.

You may be lean with header. Need a fuel pressure reg to bump pressure up about 4lbs, this Is on current tunes. Lower tunes may be ok but don’t do any lake runs at 17lbs boost.

you need to set your fuel pressure at 48-50 psi while its idling works best , ran this with good results , a/f were low 12 with zero knock at wot , lake racing ,long distance , 94 octane fuel , 1/2 bottle lucus , 18-19 psi boost ,

Are you sure you seeing over 18lbs boost with header? Stock waistgate does not seem to hold much more than 17.5 even if running 20lb tune.you need to set your fuel pressure at 48-50 psi while its idling works best , ran this with good results , a/f were low 12 with zero knock at wot , lake racing ,long distance , 94 octane fuel , 1/2 bottle lucus , 18-19 psi boost ,

My TD pump, regulator, and a/f sensor supposed to be here tomorrow, so I’m sure I’ll be back with questions!

check your sled for boost leaks , I had a boost leak at the clamp on the intercooler , could not get past 17 psi , the clamps that come with the aftermarket hoses r junk , replaced all clamps with normal hose clamps , zero boost leaks , max 19 gives me just over 19 psi , max 20 , 21-22 psiAre you sure you seeing over 18lbs boost with header?
