Your new one is exactly what mine sounds like. I've got around 4k on mine. Has sounded the same since new. That old one was bad. Loud and only took about 1/3 the time to wind down.

All good. Waste gate control solenoid and boost solenoid lines crossed. Stupid mistake on my part.
