#1 eng. shuts off when going over over sharp bank (snow plow pushed up) at very slow speed but starts right back up with no problem.#2 head light and pod does not come on until eng. has gone through warm up cycle (temp was about -20 with windchill) have never seen this happen before even at colder temps, Thanks

check to see if you have the carb float kit update The 03's had a problem with fuel starvation with servere climbing or descending and the kit retrofit solved this problem. No idea about your electrical issue

My 05 stalled on me when decending a steep hill out west.It was a hill that I pumped the brakes all the way down and still was about 70mph at the bottom. No problems going up just down.

float level seem to be the problem, mine was doing this also last year when going down.

Also engine stop when it rocks or a severe shock.

I had #2 happen one time:)

Just playin...I did have it happen when my lights wouldn't come on and actually my gauges wouldn't fire up. It was really cold out like you were saying and I think a relax was frozen. After a minute or two it turned on. Riding at -20 is just crazy anyway.

Twice at temps near zero I started my sled and the gauge didn't come on right away. Can't remember if I had to restart it, but it always eventually worked.

My son's sled it loosing power when coming down hard or going up hard. Never stalls, but burbles. Seems to be the shock. Has the float bowl update, and used to be fine. Is adjusting float height a tuff job? I have the manual and will have to check it out.
