'For those coming up for the Gwinn ride it has been snowing in the Marquette and Gwinn area since I last gave a weather update on Monday. Schools are closed today in the Marquette and Gwinn area. It is nice and cold too. That should make your time travelling north go by a little faster knowing the white stuff will be waiting for you!!

Also, just an FYI, the UP 200 sled dog races start at 7pm Friday night in downtown Marquette if you are bored, which I know won't be the case.

Hey guys I just found out that my other buddy's and his wife still has the flu I will be cancelling one of the rooms if you want me to hold it for you let me know before I call in to cancel I am still keeping my room. The room is two beds for Friday and Saturday night leaving Sunday.

I think this group went past me on Trail 8 tonight (headed towards Gwinn), around 6:00pm? Quite the group. Lead seemed to be running HID headlights. I pulled over at a stop sign to let them pass, and pass, and pass, and pass. I was on a black Venture GT tonight.

Yep, it was cold. Even on the 'ol "Snow-couch", it was still cold. Supposed to be even colder tomorrow.

Glad to have you bud.. what a awesome ride we had.... I never want to go back to Muni after perfectly groomed trails all weekend.

Tom, I had a riot on Saturday with the group!!! Thanks for letting me tag along. It was nice to meet a few more TYers. That one portion of trail we were on north of Republic was the best trail I have been on all year. It was post card perfect. Thanks again for this great site and what comes along with it.

We also had a great weekend, I always enjoy riding with the TY group (never a dull moment). Despite the -20 temp this morning I think the trails were even better today than yesterday.
