I don't believe either statement from them.... "Both groomers were out" and "trails weren't as bad as we expected"

Sorry, any statement about grooming operations in Munising....I wouldn't believe 1 word.

Believe what you want......one of the guys that lives right off of Conner Rd (FFH-13 on the north side of M-28) rode his sled down to The Liar's Club this morning......he said trails were "surprisingly good" except for the 4 mile stretch from 8 to the Buckhorn.......I haven't been out since the meltdown but I did stop when going into town Monday night and walked onto 8.......surprised how much useable snow actually was still on the trail........FWIW

There should be a lot of base left for how much snow they had, but still there is no reason why those trails are that bad most of the time. Maybe the groomer people need to take lessons from some of the wisconsin clubs who can only dream of having that much base to work with.
 
Its MrSled's decision but I know I it was me I would be looking to relocate the ride just because seems like Munising area cant get there act together with keeping up the trails.

This will be in affect for next year. Last ride date is still set but I will be trailing form the Hotel West to Chatham or to Kingston for the final ride.

O.K., you got to 'splain this one to my little feeble mind.........how can saying "the trails are surprisingly good" possibly be construed as being negative? That logic is beyond my capabilities, limited as they might be..........

Even with low snow conditions the March ride is always fun trailing to Kingston plains and riding from there.
We are coming no matter what!
