It is a perfect situation for Yamaha, free advertising, free publicity, all they have to do is let you guys ride some new sleds. Everyone else is paid to be in the brochure. Seems like they whore you guys out. IMO

We are more then that, we have great contacts, and funding to keep the site going so dont think they use us..... they need us as much as we need them.

I think they need you more than you need them! Has to be a touchy situation if they are paying you and your posting reviews. Don't be afraid to assert the power/ respect this site should demand.

All of the the info that I post on sleds is non bias, if I am going to drive one I have to be happy too. The beauty of the site is clean feedback to help them build us better sleds.... granted we get our fair share of guys that cant post once but would rather dirty everyone else's posts with their problems instead of taking it to the dealer were the real help is.... Yamaha is no different then any other paying advertiser....

Look at it this way, if they didnt have someone as great as me (SOAP BOX) then they could be dealing with someone that could really make it bad for us Yamaha loyal owners....

Remember guys, this site is a hobby for me. I love meeting new people, riding and socializing about the sport I love and then to finally help them with issues and give them direction is a real praise. On the other hand when its all about using the site to get to Yamaha and make them listen.... well they hear you...trust me, but thats not what this site is intended for.

The stuff they put in the brochure was posted on here at one point ... they could have taken it and quoted it with out our pictures and with out credit. Instead they contacted all of us and asked for a picture (none of use knew exactly for what), but they did contact us and we had an opportunity to decline or ask further questions.

I don't feel like I whore ... LOL ... I hope I don't look like a whore in my picture! Now you gave me a complex! LMAO

Regardless of who needs who I think it's pretty cool that our pictures are in a Yamaha brochure!
