If anyone wanted ride shirts and didn't order them yet, I told Tom I'd be happy to deliver them. I guess Shipping prices to Canada went through the roof. I should be arriving Thursday morning.

just so we are clear .this years manitoba ty ride is being organized by a guy who has not been able to do 100 miles on a trip yet.

Just drove out in Lac Du Bonnet this weekend. Went to Alf's, Rudy"s, Halfway and another hut that I can't remember the name.
Lionel's, Steve's, Tramway, Milner Ridge, Halfway,Joyce's, Alf's,Timberline, Centerline, Anson's, and Elma trails were in excellnt shape.
Saw a surprising amount a Yamahas this weekend. More than usual.
Trails and conditions are looking good for the TY Ride.

thanks stiener(i think)..i will pass on what i am sure would be a great deal on a great sled...

i talked to nopoming lodge and he says except for moose trail his trails are open and will be groomed tues and wed, just before the ride .he will also prepare us something special for lunch at a gruop price and assured me he will have lots of premium fuel(thats all he carries now)i told him i will phone him friday to give him our numbers to the best of our knowledge.sooooooooo
thursday feb.14 , 9am departure so long as our american nieghbors are cleared for take-off ,we head out to nopoming lodge for lunch.depending on travel-time we can loop the smaller loops there before or after lunch and return to lac du b. via pine-falls on the way back to add some miles.

As for Thursday "work" which shall remain nameless has pulled my holiday day so I will miss the Thursday ride however if anybody wants to ride out Thursday after work to LDB to join the crew let me know.
