Well went to fix my exhaust leak that developed just before the TY Ride.
Found a little surpise.

YIKES......The Y Pipe let go at the weld????

It doesn't look like rust but more like a Vibration failure. What are you seeing Jeff??

Im sure you probably have a welder in your shop...BUTT...IF YOU NEED ANYTHING just Hollar....Id Be Only To Happy To Drive Out and Pick Up That Stuff & Repair It or If You Need Any Material It Will Be On Its Way ASAPJust Say What You Need

Thanks for the offer.
Don't see any rust on the exhaust pipe. Place I'm working at tomorrow has a welding shop. Will see if they have time to fix it up.
Just need to get a Yamaha exhaust clamp. That was my initial exhaust leak. Some how I think my studs wore it down and ripped it off.
As for the W-arm, I had the local welding outfit bulk up my extra W-arm for me over the summer.
Just wanted to powder coat it before I installed but I guess it will go in with just primer on it for now.
Hope be up and running for the weekend.

Now that was a cracked W arm, holy cow, I had to inspect mine when it went and look for cracks it did not come out in two pieces like that - wow. Yamadoo aka Mark

Vector is running fine. Had it out on Saturday pulling the kiddies around on a tube.
Most tiring 15 miles I do but all worth it.

Will be SNOWMOBILING this weekend.

Come on out again. There are still a few hundred miles of trails that we have not shown you yet.

Now that was a cracked W arm, holy cow, I had to inspect mine when it went and look for cracks it did not come out in two pieces like that - wow.

I inspect after every ride. All looked good the night before. 300+ miles later it looked like that.
Re-inforced backup W arm is ready to go in.

I should have went with you guys I took my brother out who is new to snowmobiling and only managed 85 miles over 6 hous!!!! He got stuck twice and the one time you couldn't even see the sled was about a 5 ft ditch I will try and get the pics from him It is good for at least a laugh

So now you will stay on the trail for sure. No more taking your hands off the bars to try to keep them warm.

Hope you don't need to use the duct tape unless you use it to keep Rosemary on the sled with you.
