Something a little different here that I have been thinking of doing.....
All of us love to ride, but we live in different parts of the country/state. I live in Manitowoc, Wi. and know a lot of TY members that are a few hours from me. Some are travelers and will drive 16 hours to attend a TY ride and that is so awesome! But there are some that can't get away for a few days...but they can go out for a day or even a few hours. I can pretty much drive anywhere and have, but this is for the ones who can't or won't want to travel a far distance. A couple people I know can't get away for the weekend, some don't have a trailer or can't get child care for overnight. These people want to ride, want to meet other riders from TY.
Here is what I am thinking..... For the guys in Wisconsin, Northern Illinois, Upper Michigan....maybe even Iowa and Minnesota. My son and I love to just leave early and drive somewhere. The trail is 200 ft. from my driveway and we will drive across the state on occasion (depending on conditions). The last time my son and I did this, we left our house, rode the trails down to northside of Milwaukee, went West towards Madison, straight up from Madison then head back East towards Lake Winnebago, across Lake Winnebago towards Kaukauna and worked our way back home. We stopped at a few places to eat, gas up and ran into a couple TY members. It was great! It gave me an idea that on the forum, we could let each other know what and where our rides are going to be and meet up at a spot to maybe chit-chat or have lunch together. You know, pick a place where a few could meet and just hang out or do a little trail ride somewhere before we head back. All of us have an incredible spot close to where they live that is either a fun area, place that takes your breath away or even a great place to eat. I want to see some of these places!
I hear all the time that it's nice to put a face to the username I agree.
We are all sledders....but I think some will agree with me when I say TY members are the best!

We could leave from Manitowoc ride up to my place on Saturday, just south of Pembine then head back down to Manitowoc on Sunday. I have been wanting to do this for a couple of years but cant really find anyone to do it with. I think it would be around 200-250 miles each way. Of course anyone who wants to join is more than welcome. Or we could swing over to Toms on Sunday then back down on Monday.

I ride from Duluth area but willing to drive or ride to meet up.
Do not know the Wisconsin trails well but can learn. I can trailer from Duluth (cabin) or Rochester, both in MN to most Wiconsin locations. We did a nice TY ride from Mercer a while ago. Great time and trails!

Yeah, I so wanted to do that ride last year but it was the same weekend as the Ice Series World Championship.
They scheduled the World Series Ice Drag Racing on February 14th and 15th of 2015 so I hope it doesn't fall on the same weekend again.

Saw the Monroe country video that looked fun. THe dates thing is so hard to fit it all in. Hopefully we will know the dates soon on these trips and make what we can.
