north bay have good trails for sure, could drive north towards temagami or head towards mattawa, both are awesome, never thought about the trucking when i mentioned the cochrane area, were not used to trucking for snowmobiling, actually,i've never trucked to get to destination cuz we can leave from home all the time
we could have guys and gals coming from a big area like ny mi pa qc makes for a long haul. we wish we could ride out of the garage. still kicking ski's.

I should have taken my time reading Pat's post Shadow, I seen "Hearst" and jumped to conclusionsshaddow44 said:Irv said:pat the rat said:how about new liskeard to hearst, best riding in ontario by a mile, they are still riding in some areas right now
Too far for this guy but North Bay sounds good, rode there this past winter for the 1st time and definitely plan to return![]()
New Liskeard isn't that far Irv...only a couple hours past North Bay...but I agree closer is nicer.![]()
I'd consider a TY ride next season..depending on location and conditions. North Bay has some real nice loops with plenty of accomodations right on the trail...plus it's a closer drive if any of our American friends care to join in.
New Liskerd wouldn't be too bad but I would still prefer North Bay but that all depends on conditions and what time of the season this happens.

Great ideas, we rode to Mattawa, Temisk and one other place on our 3 days up there, either one would be great imo.

The more riders we get the better rate we will get on motels and a better time we will have.

- I already posted in the thread over on TY Ride section, but if you were thinking about NB area, then you could make it a little later in the season.
- Late Feb/early Mar
- The Family Day weekend can sometimes count guys out that don't sled with their families.
- I'm sure there'd be local club interest as well if more Southern area were thought about.
- You know, stage from one area and ride from one district to another??

Great idea. On from Cochrane and we have 500 miles of groomed trails. But if you guys hit up gemstone or birthday area if definitely want to join. Know a few other guys with turbo sleds that wouldn't think twice about it either. A trip from new pissed to.Cochrane is a half day of riding. Usually made a full day for us to Go down and back home from the sleds. I may be wrong but I heard Hearst area won't be grooming this year or somewhere near there. But that would need to be dbl Checked. There's a tour Guide around here (extreme Tours) knows the place like no one else. Get a hold of him and on sure he could be of great help in arranging this

Hey Turbo!
This ride was last year, we ended up riding around North Bay for a week end, great time.
There is a post in the TY rides section for this year I would be happy to help organize again.
