ulmer clutch kit question

Sniperviper, how did the clutch kit affect your FX? Looking at freeride track, exhaust, and clutch kit just wondering your experience or other that have done the same upgrades.

Did the track change today. Will test it out tomorrow and let you know then. Havent got my exhaust yet... Still on its way up north. Shipping company have taken the longest route. From north of sweden to the south. Then to oslo and no its on its way to me. Shortest route aprox 900km. Choosen route aprox 3000km. Maybe because of customs and that we are outside the european union (EU)

Will be looking forward to the feedback. Hopefully the wait isnt to long. At the same time you will get to notice the difference of each piece as you do your changes! ;)!

Have tested it out now and the ulmer clutch kit works fine with the freeride track. I agree with what other have told about this track, it should have been stock on the phazer. Also got my speedtech exhaust today. Maybe a little more snappy down low and midrange but no difference on top. But this exhaust was to LOAD. Terrible!! Will tear sled down tomorrow and weld the stock pipe and put it on.... What a waste of money..... Wonder if I ever will learn not to do such stupid things...

Too loud ? (not to load ;)! ) ) But it looks OK ? Nice and shiny. But is it too loud for you or for the spectators ?

This one was not too loud (got it today, but still waiting for super tips):

I'm still pissed on myself for doing this stupid thing, cant think clear and I dont look forward to tear down sled tomorrow.. The sound was terrible!! It was like having my old wr450f inside my helmet. Hopfully I will have use for my ears many more years so I dont want to destroy my hearing cabability by using this fuxxxg pipe.

Congratulations with your turbo kit!!

Could it be like the excell exhaust? After a certain amount of use it will actually quiet down? I dont know, just throwing it out there!

Yes there are baffles in that muffler. Anyway I will never put it on again :o|

Just came back from a friend of me who is a welder so now I have the stock pipe on again :flag:

Should have putted on the extra money and bought the exell instead, but for now I'l leave it stock.

If you dont like it, just give it to me! :-o Haha, just kidding do you want to sell it?

How much lighter is it? Easy install?

:jump: Aprox 2kg lighter than stockpipe so not such a big difference. Easy install, took halv an hour. And yes I will sell it.

Ok no big wheight savings then. I just talked to the swedish distributor for Excell.
They want 7400 SEK for the excell exhahust!
That is like 1027$ US!!!!!
NO WAY im paying that.

How much do you want for yours?

By the way, the stock muffler is almost 8 kgs /17 lbs, which is a large number. About the same as the stock muffler on my BMW K1200R including cathalytic converter.

rfab,
I am loving the ultra Q. Sounds and performs great. My girlfriend also has a Phazer and in for the sake of testing different products, I was thinking of giveng her the Ultra Q so I could try something different. I am also looking at the MBRP Exhaust which should be available any day. I think it will be a good one.
