Best yet..Conditions: hard packed, a little bumpy, and not long enough to get top speed, -10 celcius, elevation 500 feet, wind : 0
All tests on two different GPS both within less than 1 MPH ...
1/4 Mile: 101 MPH 3 times
top speed about 1/2 mile missing track lengh: 108 MPH there was more left there...same speed in both directions...
Machine: stock motor. Hyprefax, fully clipped track, 4th iddler wheel at front, and HC-X roller secondary with spring ajustments...
still over revs a little, might have to put in the Apex gear and will get 113-114 MPH top...
What do you think???

What did you do,cut and clip you 3rd windows on your 136 ripsaw rash?? Oh ya dont gear up,you wont go any faster, believe it or not you are good for 130 real mph with 23/38 if you dont believe me ask nos pro (terry) he has done this on his attak on the bottle, hey how do you like your hyperfax,i have not used them in years, but did have great results with them,do they still make a pair that is already fitted to your sled,i mean ones you dont need to cut to fit? On your 1/2 run your speed seems a little low, maybe it was the snow, you say it was hard packed,i would of thought maybe 114 or better on gps,we were on hard 3" of snow that was tracking hard and running 112 gps than it got soft and a little sloopy and still got 108 at 45 degrees above,so if there is anykind of lube sat on the lake i am hoping for 120 gps, maybe!!

mnmsnowbeast is correct. I wouldn't change the gearing on the Attak, it is perfect for all types of riding. Keep working on your clutch setup. I have Allen's clutching in mine, and it is the best kit I have used to date.

I think you have your secondary to tight. Fo speed runs you need little to no twist. It sounds like your seocndary isn't opening all the way.
