Ok guys, I started out saying this is the best track ever...ice Ripper with 288 studs in my Attak.............well my opinion of the track has changes dramaticly.
2 problems:
1st running on top speed on ice. At top speed reading 126mph on speedo it would all of a sudden break traction an start to spin, speedo would jump in the high 130's.... my buddy with the SAME attak only running 108 studs in his stock RipSaw would never lose traction at this speed. I'm 250lbs so I'm sure the problem is worst with lighter riders. Its as if there too many studs and the track start to float at high speeds.
2nd problem its starting to delaminate. I'm going to talk with Camoplast and see if they could help me or possibly warrenty the track.

For me, 2300 miles this year and best track among many, but I don't drive that kind of speed. Well..... maybe at night with my head on the pillow!!! I have the quiet feature and this makes for one smooth ride

snowbiscuit. How quiet is that track? Compared to Ripsaw, no drone?

Are you sure your belt isn't slipping. Some people were having problems with there clutch at high speeds. When you get traction hour belt grabs harder.

I have the Ice Claw (136), it is also early run track. The lugs have started to tear from the track, more on one side than the other. I called Camoplast, Plattsburg, NY and they were very helpful. I ended up taking the sled to them to look at the track. I was riding up in Saranac Lake, so was not too far out of the way. The track is just over a year old and the warranty is 2 years.
They looked at the track and said they would warranty it. The guy that looked at the track found even more problems than I did. He said the clips were wearing out on the inside, the part that contacts the slide. He told me they discontinued that track, I wonder why?
Anyway, being they don't carry that model anymore, he told me to send the track back where I bought it, and they would send it to him. Then they would refund me the full amount I paid, and I could put that towards any other track I want.
I am leaning towards the 1" carve. (used to be Predator) Looks like the new ice models are with the tracks that have the "softer rubber". (hacksaw and ripsaw)
Great company, nice they stand behind their track. I would call them if you have a problem and give them the serial number off the track.

RIYAMA... I do not notice the annoying drone the sled had prior to replacement. Others have commented on how smooth the sled is. One thing and I don't know if it is the track, going thru a set of slides every 600 to 700 miles. Will be adding wheel kits for next season

update ice ripper
I to had my ice ripper come apart last winter after 2000 miles. My dealer replaced it with a ripsaw for 75 dollars ! It was the first issued type.
