Like we all know setup is the key with the Apex. These shocks give all the adjustment you need to dial in your front end. If you have the GYTR shock keep the rebound close to 10 clicks out and the spring tension on the soft side. On smooth trails set the compression at 6 clicks out and as the trails get beat up go in 1 click at a time.

Larry????
Great vid.
I just bought an 06 GT and am up in the air about running floats or GYT's. I've got floats on my RX and love them over the stockers but I haven't got any miles on the GYT's so I've got no basis for comparison. I'm thinkin' the GYT is a better shock, if nothing else but from an adjustability standpoint.

great video sx7001! thanks for taking the time and showing how they work to give us a better understanding of these great shocks! yamaha should offer a video just like this to the consumer instead of leaving it up to the buyer to figure it out on there own! again thanks for sharing this.
