I have the factory Yamaha plastic ones and love them. I did have a problem with both of them loosening up and falling off rideing down some trails luckily nobody ran them over. I finally found replacement bolts and fixed the issue with LOCTITE. I have had no problems since.

i tried the skinz before the rox. dont fit the greatest and kinda slopy.
I know I may change them but when I got them it was the only option and Yamahatim was crushing my knuckles with ice chunks off that 1.6" ice ripper on his LTX. They really seem to throw up a lot of hard stuff when your tucked under their bumper and no time to react to them. Although I still like the chunks from mine hitting me in the helmet - I keep looking around to see who is throwing rocks!!!!

Received my powermadds. Don't like the size, doesn't offer enough protection IMO. I will probably try the rox flex tech as it's important for me to have good coverage on my hands from wind.
Did not see anything from my dealer that looked good or had enough coverage.

I've got the yamaha ones and am going to order the extensions for them. They worked ok last year but could definitely use more wind coverage.

I put on the factory plastic ones with the aluminum mounts and the ac Rubber extensions. They are quite large with the extensions and I think they look alright.

Which series Powermadd?

It was the Powermadd Trail Star Series. Just too small and did not offer enough wind protection IMO.

I figured the Sentinel would work better. "The Sentinel guard is larger compared to the Star Series which in turn gives you more protection."
I think they also make extensions for the std Star series don't they?
Since you already have them: http://www.powermadd.com/products/flare/index.html
This would make them convertible.

I have the powermadd race flare extensions, if that helps.
Will the powermadd handguards work on the 2015 viper ltx se with the stock blue windshield or will they hit them side flares when turning?

To be honest I do not know as I added them after I removed the stock windshield.
