Not sure if you guys have had problem but this is the hardest track that I have ever had to get aligned... chassis has so much flex that you have to hang it uneven or it will effect the alignment.. anyone have any tricks to get it right on the money...

Do you have a four wheel kit? I just measure the adjustment bolts and put them the same distance. Otherwise run it on a stand and rev motor while a little loose. Then look and see if the track has a lot of side to side movement. If so adjust accordingly.

I agree, I screwed around with it for at least a half hour. Small adjustments and no movement then all the sudden way to far. Frustrating

Right on... it sucks. I have the 4 wheel kit and when you rev it , it sure changed from dead stop to wide open... maybe a guy should just measure the screws like Tim said and just leave it...

With the 4th wheel kit it's easy to watch the track to wheel distance wander from side to side as it goes around. I guess it depends on where it stops.

Thats what I do and it seems to work just fine. My track seems to be pretty good. Even on both sides of the gap on the outside wheels. With the 4 wheel kit.

I made it even by measuring with calipers and then ran it. It was leaning to the left still so had to add another turn or so to the left screw to even it out. Still have stock wheels on, but will have to go through the whole process again this summer when I put a 4 wheel kit on. I'm hoping someone comes out with a one piece axle and bigger wheels for it by then.

My 4 wheel kit is one axle and 8.4 inch wheels. Oh maybe not I guess I do have to add a piece to get the outside wheels on. But with a long bolt. I guess not the same thing. But I measured mine and it seems to work good. Depends on sled I guess :o|

First time I did it I struggled but after doing it a couple times I can usually get pretty quick now

Thats the way I have done motorcycles and sleds for decades, saves alot of time and unless your vehicle is severly tweaked it is right on.

It just always seems to be to far to one side when I stop... never had the issue before... and I own like 20 sleds..LOL

Exactly. I was thinking it was because of only having two wheels. Never had a issue with any of my other sleds. I am also noticing that the sides of my track look like they are rubbing, both sides are showing. There isn't allot of room up in the tunnel.

Could your eye sight be slipping with age?

That's my excuse! We need to tighten our tracks? Wth, it's brand new, thought I was good for at least four years. :o|

Oh, no worries you are... :drink:
Tom was just asking, he doesn't need it done. It's really for me I was embarrassed to ask...

I just tighten until the bolt won't move anymore and then loosen it a 1/16 turn :jump:
