Anybody have video of these boosted vipers lining up with other sleds ? Like to see how they compare side by side. That's a lot of coin to drop, I want to see some major whooping going on.

Anyone?

Did you try searching on You Tube? I'll bet there are some there.

No snow

I know they can take me from the dig but the old rx 1 still has the legs on top to handle most boosted vipers
Any video? All I hear is talk. Still on the fence as far a turbo goes.

Need some snow and a willing person to race lol lined up last week with my buddy who has an 800 etec prolly half a dozen times and in a 1/4 mile he said he couldn't even see me because of all the snow chunks being kicked up. He said easily 8 sled lengths faster in a 1/4 mile.

I tried for the last 3 days and could not get any takers!!! I did catch several doo 800's on the trail and blew the horn and passed them like they were sitting still. This sled is now sick fast. I ran only 9#'s of boost cause the trails were junk in the UP but I did get in several wot runs on a lake that was just groomed. With good hookup I am sub 7 seconds to 100 mph on GPS at 9#'s so 12#'s will require Velcro on the seat to stay on it!!!!

That's good your beatin up on the 800's but when that turbo gets put on its kinda like puttin your big boy underwear on. You gotta learn to tie your sneakers and run with the big dogs. That's what I'm looking at.

No matter what you got somebodies got something faster, just build it to make yourself happy and stop worrying about what you can and can't beat in a drag race, unless it's for money or trophies it doesn't matter,I already have lots of both so I'm puttin the trail turbo on to make me smile every time I smash the throttle and isnt that why we do this anyways?

I think what Don's trying to figure out here is is it really worth spending 5 -6 k to only beat a sled you beat without the turbo for just a little fun factor . I don't see that it's really worth it yet either still going by the vipers on top end with the old rx 1 except for the 30 k vipers of course lol but I could buy a pro cross turbo and take care of that problem for a lot less $

I don't think that any non turbo Viper is going to run with any 800 two stroke. Maybe an old RX1 like mentioned will beat them but that was not the topic of this thread.

This thread is about Vipers which as I said will not beat very many 800 two strokes without a turbo.
