I was reading the Attak / Apex forums and read that people are wiring their handwarmers in series vs. parallel via the new wiring harness and the grips get very hot. Has anyone rewired their grips and seen an improvement on the Warrior? Mine get warm but not hot like my old yamahas. Any info appreciated. Thanks.

Not being all that impressed with my Warrior hangrip heaters I have asked the same question. I guess nobody has tried it.

To be honest, my warrior has kept my hands very warm on even the coldest of days. Granted my riding takes place well south of your location, but I do often ride in temps 0-10. Even then I can only set the handwarmers to the half way point. Do you have handlebar risers elevating your hands out of the protective region?
I have bar ends and a riser but I was never impressed with them before I did those additions, Yeah they get warm after a while but not hot. I bought a pair of gauntlets to try this weekend but I'm not too keen on having my hands resricted in those. I was just looking to see if anyone has tried rewiring with any sucess. Thanks.

I normally run only one or two bars of heat on my warrior. Mine get VERY hot. I have been riding in temps around 0 F
