about half throttle if you go full throttle it hesitates then comes to life. My Yamaha dealer told me to wrap tape around the coils he thought it may be arching i tried that but it still hesitates if you could help me out i would appreciate it

Well, ... I would take the coils out and clean them with Brake Cleaner or Contract Cleaner. Then put some dielectric grease on the spark-plug tip and reinstall the coils w/o the rubber grommets on the top of them. Then you can look down in there when it is running. In a darkened room you can see any arcing. Be sure to place them in the center of the access holes, when you do this. If they are still arcing, then they need replacement. Also, check the tips of the Plugs. If there is carbon on the tips where the coil connects, then they (possibly plugs and coils) may need to be replaced.

Once you have the coils NOT acring, then reinstall the rubber Grommets.

When was the last time you cleaned the carbs?

You may want to consider adding some dielectric grease. That will cut down on the carbon and arcing that goes with it.
