Wear marks on oil tank?

Was just going to change oil on my viper and noticed the lower cover has been rubbing on the oil tank. Is this a normal occurrence or do I have bigger issues? TYIA

Yup mine has it too. Put a piece of Teflon tape or rubber there.

No. Another wear point is the clutch guard wears into the Bat Wing by left knee
