ok..guys quick question....oil resisdue in air box....what causes this....also..oil is real dirty after changing...and it idles bad..loops.
Usually oil in the air box is from a faulty pcv system. It can sometimes be caused by the wrong oil viscosity, and occasionally is from excessive blow-by from worn rings.

or you tip it on its side, right side for too long, or oil is overfilled

Mine always has a small amount of residual oil in the air box.
It has been like this since day 1.
I pull the air box every year to do an oil change and always wipe out a small amount of residual oil.
In my opinion it is normal to find this in small amounts.
I do not know what causes it though

What causes this you ask.... the crankcase is vented to the airbox just as the crankcase is vented to the intake on you're truck or car. A means of emissions.
Combine this with an engine that spins in the 7-10,000 RPM range on average & you have excess crankcase pressure that has to go somewhere.
Excess oil that winds up running out of the airbox and out the bellypan is usually from what has been said being tipped, overfilled, or plugged/kinked hose.
