I have never used the 12mm. I ride hard and aggressive so I love the 13mm. If your a mix it may very well be a good compromise although 1mm larger then stock may not be worth the cash.

ok thanks. Yea i'm mixed its weird.. I either ride balls to the wall even through the toughest of trails to the point where people riding with me cant even see me let alone keep up, and other times I just cruise around enjoying the day.. My riding depends on my mood, lol! Another thing i notice is sometimes i ride standing the whole 150 miles trip, other times i sit the whole trip, lol! I'm just weird like that..

Hey Maxout, you and i must be twins separated at birth, because my riding mannerisms are exactly the same. Like Jeckyl and Hyde, you never knows who going to show up to ride that day! LMAO!!!!!!
But when I'm in the zone to cruise, I like to keep 'er pinned the whole time!!!!

ah huh.
Pinned you say. Remember that time when I ordered a pizza, had it delivered to the trail and ate it before you caught up.
That was a good ride.

That was only after I decided to take another loop after I got bored waiting for you.

Haha thats funny! If we lived close enough together riding together would be interesting. Especially depending on what "mood" our riding was bringing us, lol!

13mm bar was one of the best purchases I have done for the Apex. I ride very fast on mostly smooth trails with some chatter. Kept the front down. You have work your transfer rod to get the sled to handle to your weight. Some inside ski lift is going to happy with increased speed. I could my 98 SRX to lift a ski as well at the right speed flat fast corners. Get up on the front and lean into the corners bar and the sled will rail right around the corners. Adjust front dampening and rebound. If you have too little rebound the front is going to crash down on the outside ski as you turn. On flat twisty trails tighten up the rebound and dampening.
