What skid is in the Phazer? - New Mono?

I was just looking at the gallery for the phazer at Yamaha-motor.ca and the pictures show a new monoshock suspension.

That's a different skid than the USA version then. The USA version has the torsion spring similar to the Nytro/Vector Pro-Active style skid.

I'd bet that the Canadian Phazer GT is 100% identical to the US Phazer GT.

Most likely it will have the more traditional suspension since that's what is in the spec's.

It's probably just Yamaha Canada getting the pictures screwed up. I just checked and the Canadian site still shows the skid I posted above.

Yamaha probably "almost" released the Phaser with this monoshock, but then changed it for a more traditional skid late before releasing the 07 sled details.

Yeah, that is interesting, perhaps they are trying it out with a smaller population ration prior to debuting it south of the border? Hmmmm....

Still wondering about the price though...May still get that Multi-purpose for hunting and jumping! LOL! Shoot my food, then go play...

The Mono in the 05's and 06's seem to be a pretty good set up...
