I have to say in this, there are a TON of imitations, Lots of modified muffler look similar but are more gutted or modified differently. I hear some comments about stock mods being loud and after investigating, it wasn't done by us.
Our stock mod isn't loud I don't know anyone who thinks it is (in snow). After 20mph all you hear is wind noise and track noise when you are riding.
No drone.

The TD Stock Mod Muffler is pretty damn awesome. I'm guessing you've watched the muffler test I did last year with many of them? My sled with PowerTrail/CAI ran super strong with the SMM and it's a totally different experience since you hear the wind and the trail, not the exhaust like with most perf mufflers. I'm down to the SMM and The SanDale 3" and alternate between the 2 depending on what I'm after.

BTW - to pile on one of your initial questions - no drone from the SMM at all. And if the SQ is too loud for you, this IS the muffler for you. If you weren't so far away (I'm from MI too) I'd tell you to come over and listen to it.

Buy with confidence...I love my stock modded(TD) and its way way quieter then the SQ. Also makes very very close power to most 2.5" aftermarkets at a stock like sound, No drone.
