Hi Ted. Unfortunatly I still need that full time job to keep playing. I'm just lucky I have an understanding wife that lets me do all this stuff. Hopefully this will become more of a family deal this summer. The kids are growing up far to fast and I don't want to miss any more than I have to. I think this summer is going to be a lot of fun. HMM, I wonder how big a turbo a 3X3 Blockzilla would take.

Yes it is time for boats, cars, motorcycles, pwc's etc. Spring and summer is a busy time for my shop with automotive type engines of various types. But I haven't pulled the plug on our snowmobile engines yet. I've been doing some dyno work on a couple of issues I just can't get over. When I finish the current project "RX1 Cooling Systems" I'll be posting some interesting facts for you all to look at. I believe the RX1 Cooling System is a much overlooked problem that doesn't get the attention it should. I believe it greatly affects the pre-ignition/detonation issues so many guys have had. I believe I have a fix for it, or at least can help it a bunch. Don't mean to cut it short but it's a topic in itself.
My second project this summer is a Standalone Fuel/IGNITION system for Apex's. I pushed the Apex system this winter as far as I could with the Yamaha componets, just can't deliver enough fuel with Yamaha 's ECU and the ignition fails big time after 20 lbs. of boost. Actually 18 lbs. is about as much as the Apex ECU is happy with, some my argue that more is possible but it's a stretch at best. I was up to 25lbs but needed all kinds of tricks to do it. Hopefully by fall I'll have a Standalone system to market, I found a great company/product to work with.
Hope you all have a great summer. :flag:

Twin Turbo, I have a standalone fuel injection with coil on plug ignition with WBO2 and Individual Cylinder Fuel & Spark control all ready done with a wiring harness and sensors, triggers, our system has full data logging with boost control built in , 2 step, timing retards. Sequential fuel control Capable of driving 8 high or low impedance injectors Staged! (staged means when the first 4 injector get to Programmable amount of duty cycle the second set will start working) great for the future use of E85 fuel. Additional data logging capabilities can be added in.. and much more if your interested call me.

Got enough gauges??!

That was my first thought also. lmao......I suppose you would a complete set for each motor.

Nice boat Matt. I'll have to look for that when your here on my lake this summer for the races....

What I am doing over the summer to my sled? Well,

-Going from a 144 to a 151X1.5 for the U.P. and out west riding.
-A studded 144X1.25 track for the trails and the ice
-Cranking up the boost
-Nitrous system
-Water/Methonal injection ( This is a maybe )
-On board data logger system ( Still need to find a good one for the sled )
-Some custom paint work for my second set of plastics

-Who knows what else I'll come up with.lol

Skydog - when the h.... do you find time to watch all them gauges when going 100+ mph??? I guess the water is not completely flat at those speeds you run. 116 mph in a boat is plain crazy LOL. I guess a boat like that is a lot more cash than a turbo sled :)

My boat is a 15 ft'er with a outboard 8 HP Yamaha hahahaha man I'm underpowered compared to you, haven't been out at sea for years. The Yamaha outboard was bought by my father back in the 70s and it still runs well but slow LOL. Only good thing about it, I can run it WOT for hours on a gallon of fuel, but I won't get very far, but I'll take my time.

Yea thanks guys the boats frist owner was Livorsi Marine. ( a huge gauge maker) It was in mags to show off all the gauges they make. Yea it has two 60Gal tanks that drink 93oct+ oil! The boat will run about 85 mph in 1,000' from a dead stop.
