What's the best sounding trail exhaust that doesn't require a tune? Any sound examples appreciated.

Do not run a Sidewinder/Thundercat without a tune or flash if going to a free flowing muffler.
As far as mufflers, there are all different prices and sounds. This is what we have tested and Hurricane and Precision EFI are the best quality, sound and performance in our opinion. Precision EFI doesn't drone and has a nice tone when full throttle

I have a Turbo Dynamics 3" Super Quiet muffler and love it. BUT... you MUST have a tune to run it.

2 1/2" Super Quiet here, sounds good, not too loud and sled makes great power... you will need a tune!

Are they going to pay for a new motor? Mine came with a bikeman exhaust and would cutout almost every single time. I took it off and put my sm back on.GGB and GSE say no tune is required.
I noticed the bikeman has a protrusion on it to keep the wastegate from opening a certain distance.

I have a gap flasher and all the Hurricane PM and SM tunes I switch back and forth occasionally but mostly stay with my current PM and run the 240 tune now.Bob are you one of the guys that had a PM tune and muffler and went back to SM?
I have had three after market PM exhausts and finally settled on one I like.

These turbo sleds are very finicky when it comes to AFR's...glad you are asking questions before doing something you would regret.
We are all here to help you with any questions you may have. And remember, there are no stupid questions when it comes down to these sleds that cost a lot of money now. I would rather someone ask a question (that they may think is stupid) rather than having someone lose an engine because they didn't know.
