I know this has been covered and i know there are a lot of different fixes for this issue but i was just looking for a bolt on or close to bolt on kit to help with hyfax wear.

wheels
Get yourself a set of 135mm wheels off a polaris or bomber and the hifax wear is almost gone.Got 3495 miles on my 09fx with this fix and it works.

Gary, did you use just he idlers or did you have to buy mounts too? If so, which mounts? If you have pictures that would be great! Thanks in advance for your time!

low snow wheels
Don't use Yamaha's low snow wheels, they are marginal at best. Bearings go out, small plastic wheels. I used the wheels off of the Long track Phazer MTX. They have smaller wheels on the front of their rails that are a much better aplication. You will have to order their wheels and attachment brackets also.

Talk to Kevin at Port Yamaha. I bought his kit and it works vry well.
It's bolt on with no mods.

I guess it depends on were your hyfax is occurring. Mine is approximately 1 foot from the rear axle. No wear at the bends. Well, looking at many other sleds in a parking area, most brands had an extra set of internal wheels right about where my wear is. But, not this Nytro. I ordered the Yami kit, picking up this week. Just from the photo of the kit, and seeing other sleds with wheels in this area, I believe its going to do the trick.. Appears to be a 15 minute bolt on. $60. Yes, a shitty design with non-replacable bearings, but. The support blocks will fit the rails perfectly and I am expecting Yami quality..
