See more laws against morons with loud vehicles? Sounds great if it does not include Hilary!

left wing liberals in action....they chip away at your rights and your wallet....

guess what...they will need equipment (dnr) to enforce...they will probably raise trail fee's to pay to ticket us!

I wasnt aware of that rule...but now that you've brought it to my attention...I stand corrected

These laws are a shame because you ever hear a harley day or night all summer long. Nothing is ever said??? little hypocritacal if you ask me. So noisy you can hear most harleys 5 miles away. A real shame. :o|

I installed mine when it had 129 miles on it sounds sweet, but yes there is a but. keep your old one around because my dealer and the dealer 80 miles away told me they would not honer my warranty if i installed it. If i had any problems Yamaha would try to link it to the aftermarket exhaust. Just a heads up because you may need to switch it back if the sled needs some shop time

Yeah but a nicely tuned Harley or for that matter a nice V8 sounds soooooo sweet...but SOME sled pipes...especially on a 2 Smoke are just plain obnoxious!

never happen....Ive fought that fight on a wayyyy more modded sled with yamaha and won....no way a muffler will void a warranty on a fourstroke..

that's cool just what they said so i kept mine around just in case figured what they didn't know wouldn't hurt them besides i cant see where it would cause any problem

Just got my TJ's tunnel dump in the mail Friday - if my tunnel ever comes back from powdercoat I can get started on this project.

Ya, the thing is the roads are not gonna go any where. If a sled has a loud pipe this could annoy the owner of the land that the trail is on, this could cause the trail to be closed on the section of land the person owns. I think that the pipe law is about the only thing the dnr can do to try to save the trails if you think about it.
