Where did I see the thread about exhaust Mod?

Hey all,
With respect to stock exhaust mods, ( ie gutting the muffler )
Last year when I was thinking about gutting my muffler, I know I read a thread about someone who, instead of gutting the entire innards of the muffler, the fellow drilled a few holes in the cross tubes with in the inside of the muffler...

He didn't want the super loud muffler, just something that wasn't stock?
Does anyone remember reading it?
Or was I dreaming...

I have searched high and low, and can't find it...I am positive it was on a Vector or an Apex...

Would love some help tracking down the thread if possible.
