Yup, pretty slow forum these days. I am waiting for air19 to fab up his "Fifth Wheel" drag mount.
I have been hanging out on another site for most of my projects this Summer, non-Yamaha related.

I started the '08VK every other week and added fresh gas twice this summer. The battery is charged and ready to go. This bone-stock machine has about 1800 miles on it and so far it has proven to be terriffic groomer, camp sled and ITS cruiser. Milage is about the same as other sport Yamahas so I'm happy...except for the rear suspension. My friend is a Cat man. His '04 Bearcat (not-turbo) rides so nice that I cannot keep up with him on a rough trail. If only Yamaha would copy the Cat suspension. He has had no issues and he beats on it trying to keep up with his two sons.
