No one has been on here for a while what is everyone up to. :yam: get them ready another month is almost gone winter is getting closer every day.

Yup, pretty slow forum these days. I am waiting for air19 to fab up his "Fifth Wheel" drag mount.

I have been hanging out on another site for most of my projects this Summer, non-Yamaha related.

yes shaft I was in dootalk and checking out the utility section I go on trips with arctic cat being the sled of choice for the rest so I hope the new cat work sled doen,t out do the VK. Glad there are no scandics there as doo does make a vey good workhorse. :yam:

yeah read it. I would have bought a cat m but if I did I could not pick on them as much. And I am tru yamaha so I just could not get a doo. I have a Polaris 500 wheeler but don,t care for there sleds. I do like to try all of them out each has good points and bad.

I started the '08VK every other week and added fresh gas twice this summer. The battery is charged and ready to go. This bone-stock machine has about 1800 miles on it and so far it has proven to be terriffic groomer, camp sled and ITS cruiser. Milage is about the same as other sport Yamahas so I'm happy...except for the rear suspension. My friend is a Cat man. His '04 Bearcat (not-turbo) rides so nice that I cannot keep up with him on a rough trail. If only Yamaha would copy the Cat suspension. He has had no issues and he beats on it trying to keep up with his two sons.
