Alright. I need some real life experiences and better yet some pics of your experiences with the white yamaha tunnels.
I'm purchasing a 2015 viper and numerous people have told me to stay away from the white tunnels as they look like crap as the season goes on. I guess the main issues are brake and belt dust and boot scuffing?? Please chime in as I really want to purchase the blue and white ltx se. Is this really an issue at all or others chiming in with opinion rather than fact?
Thanks

2000 miles on mine. Yes you get brake dust..it comes right off with soapy water and just a cloth. I have very little boot scuff but also comes off with soapy water, just takes a bit more scrubbing. The white side panels is what attracts the most discoloration that doesn't come off as easily but I know people using a chemical cleaner say the colors come right off. I wouldn't be concerned at all about the tunnel as long as you are good about keeping it cleaned regularly. Mine got wash after ever couple rides in a heated basement so it wasn't an issue at all for me.

2600 miles wash and wax every other ride. no problem

Haven't washed mine yet, mine looks great!

Yes, some brake dust

Boot marks rub right off

clutch panel and exhaust panel showing a little discoloration....but nothing I am worried about.

I have my sled wrapped and the wrap is smooth. Seems like the clutch dust and exhaust doesn't cling to the wrap much.

I have around 4000 miles and my tunnel looks great. Side panels look great as well. But take a little stronger cleaner. I was able to get them looking like new.

Have almost 4000 Kms and I use the IPONE detailer , tunnel looks like new.

Thanks to everyone that replied.
2015 viper coming my way.
Now if they only corrected the dropping outta gear nonsense I would be totally confident.

Not all sleds appear to be affected by this, but hopefully this is addressed by Yamaha/Arctic Cat.

Correct ours has never came out of gear, but we do alot of using the reverse off the sled deck...if that matters.
