Finally put the sled away late this afternoon after riding all weekend at the camp. Awesome riding. Now it is supposed to rain for the rest of the week so the season is officially over.

In the Minneapolis area they are calling for 6-9 inches of snow and my sledless because I traded my sleds in early for the new Viper coming.
The OFT snowman, tonight about 45 min south of Minneapolis.
Crazy year down there this year, cold enough in Alaska but no new snow.

You guys didn't get anything from this last storm in Anchorage it sounds like. Last two days have seen almost a foot at higher elevations and snow through Sunday. This is nuts. I will be making a run here today or tomorrow.

Now that is funny!
I think that I could still ride up at the cabin in NE MN but I am done now. I am ready to put the sleds up in the storage loft and take the summer toys down. It was a great season for me!
I still check into this site once and while. Went riding yesterday, right from my yard as we still have ridable snow on the ground. Not great conditions but I've never been able to go snowmachining at sea level in June before. If the creek was lower I could have crossed and headed up the trail and up the mountain and into good snow.
I thought it was funny to be riding my snowmachine and seeing the trees bud out along the way.
