Thanks again, let you all know how it goes!!
You will love it. I love my 2011 Apex. And contrary to what was already stated here, yamaha did change to a different ski for 2012. It supposedly cuts darting and corners great. We will see once we get some reports back. Turn the key and go ride, it's that simple.

I have had both sleds and still have the 2011 apex xtx. and i hate to say it but the only thing the apex has over the mach is relaibilaty. And i love yamaha.

I rode a demo 2011 before ordering a nytro xtx. Gave up power for the stand up chassis. The apex motor was efi and it ripped. Keep in mind my last three sleds were 1000 and 800 cats. The apex was instant response and the power steering was sweet. If I was more trail I would have ordered it. Felt like you could ride it a thousand miles a day.

Well guys, managed to get 400 miles on my new apex and was very impressed but for good measure got on a 2006 mach z x just like i used to have that my friend owns. We i lasted less than a mile, that sled was a POS compared to the new apex, i couldnt wait to get off of it. the suspension is terrible and even the engine was nothing to compare to the apex. I am very happy i switched to yamaha!!

kinger said:Your going to hate it. Too much power, too easy to drive, lack of maintenance.
Snowmobiling gets REALLY boring when all you do is turn the key.
Better sell it and get something to keep you busy rather then riding this winter.
I absolutely agree 100% when it comes to the engine. With the exception of the engine however, everything else wears out and requires maintenance just as as often (if not more often in certain areas) than other brands IMO.
