Ok looking for a more aggressive set up with EPS this season. Both carbides have the same profile but lengths are slightly different. who has run them and what are the pros and cons of each. I could make a more informed decision if I had them both in hand but I do not.

I have run the shapers on my EPS Sidewinder and my old 2020 ZR800. 6 inch on both. Both stock ski. All my Pol-cheese buddies run the shapers on their 850's and love them
Loved them on the ZR 800. I could put that front end anywhere I wanted. point the bars and it would go there. Steering effort was more than acceptable.
Hated them on the sidewinder. I think with the extra weight over the ski's, they just bite TOO hard for me. It wants to lift the inside ski. The steering effort can be felt even with EPS. They seem to get "stuck" in the snow in certain conditions. I could not adjust these traits out of that set up.
Maybe if you are the type of rider that likes to " hang ham" off the side of the seat in every corner, they might be for you. Those days are over for me.
I rode a T-cat with the shapers on it without EPS, brutal steering effort.

I was going to put them on the pilot 6.9's to see if i could get better responsiveness with them. The pilots take no effort with 8" and 4" flats on them

I have not run what you are proposing - but given what i have witnessed with other set ups - I would say both are going to likely rail pretty good but your shoulders are gonna feel it.
Unless you are built like Travis Kelce I would drop the idea of pure shapers.
The mavericks my be a touch softer.
A friend has triple points on C&A XPT's and they seem to be an all round pretty good bar. They bite pretty good, and bar fatique is reasonable. But once they begin to wear flat, they loose their bite. You cant sharpen them.
