Nice, where are the graphics from?I would buy another SideWinder again. I'm super impressed with this new sled. I've got a couple of Apex's in the stable and they've been great sleds over the years. I'm not sure if the SideWinder is ever going to replace the Apex as a pure Yamaha built sled but it offers something new and exciting to drive over the tried and true pure Yamaha Apex. They both have their strength's and weakness's. 2018 is looming large for the Apex faithful to pony up and order the last of the Apex's. For anyone who's looking to increase the fun factor it's going to be hard to look past the SideWinder.

I'll second that! It looks like something an adult in the 21st Century might ride without a big TURBO plastered on it!

The graphics were designed by Blown Concepts here in MN. http://blownconcepts.com/
I don't want to hyjack this thread. Any questions about the graphics, you can contact them directly at (612) 767-7645. Robb Kaiser the owner really has a flair for coming up with nice and clean designs that aren't "in your face".

"No problems what so ever" that is some kind of luck or you baby your sleds and do not add mods. Which is it?
I have owned way too many 2 strokes to list and enjoyed almost all of them, but also blew up most of them, Doos, yami, cats.
Hi, Let me quote your signature
"84 Phaser, 87 Exiter, 88 Exiter, 88 Sno Sport, 90 Phaser ER, 95 V-Max 600ER, 97 SX 700, 98 XTC 700ER, 99 Phaser ER, 2000 SRX 700,
02 Vipers 700ER, 03 Vipers 700 ER, 03 RX-1ER. 06 Turbo Attack !!"
Two strokes of today are light years from these things. Maybe its time to give them another try. Trust me, a 4 year warranty on a 2 stroke was unheard of back then and with good reason!
I can't comment on Sidewinder vs Others.. But I do have a turbo viper 153 that is basically a BTX now. I love it. Its so much fun. I've had a very hard time deciding what my next sled will be because of it... But it really comes down to what you want to do with it.
I do a fair amount of off trail riding and when I take my viper off trail that's when it really makes my decision easy.. Its just too big and heavy to throw around and then ride for a few hours later.. Its very exhausting. That being said, I can do anything and go anywhere a 2 stroke can go. Like I said, it just requires some work..
I believe if you are primarily a trail rider and you are considering 137 or shorter, you are silly to look else where. The 4 stroke turbo is where its at. If you want a crossover and truly need a crossover or a mountain sled, that's where the decision gets a little fuzzy.
I'd take one for a ride if I were you and try to decide then.
