WRP Apex Seat kit on order!

Sump Buster and SnoRunner: Just be sure to order the kit for the Vector, it used the Pre 2011 Apex style seat with two latches. Anything may be stretched, but get the right one, or call Seat Concepts directly for the perfect fit. Also, they list the Apex seat from 2006-2018, but also a 2011-2018. We all know you want to keep those two separate as the seat pan on the 2011+ accommodates that EPS.

RCK: I used the Powermadd 2.5” Pivot on a Phazer and two Apex for the reason I didn’t have to change cables, and it mounted literally on top of the stock riser. And I could lean the bars forward or backward. Pics available upon request. It feels a lot less like ape-hangers with the higher seat.

Brian A: Those are Zebco Catfish Sticks with Ambassadeur 6000 Reels loaded with 50lb braid for channel Catfish. The Red River of the North here in Fargo is the start of world class channel catfishing on up to Lake Winnepeg. Check out my three episodes of Wicked Catfish on www.biff.org

Good luck guys, keep the questions coming if there are more. I think my wife questioned if I knew what I was doing years ago. Now she knows I can YouTube whatever I yet to figure out.

I bought the 3" riser back in March, I thought you could use the 3" without extenders. I just searched my emails and post and cant find anything. Does anyone know if the 3" will work with just rerouting cables. Unfortunately my sled isn't home and I cant check it out.

You will be right at the limit. I know at 2.5" with the reroute under the bar and clipping a zip tie in the bundle it worked. You will know if it throws a TORS code when you turn the bars. My guess is you can make it work. Worst case, you buy an extension, or a mountain cable off someone parting one out. Cables are not hard to swap.

I bet Barn of Parts has a cable off a mountain apex.

Good luck!

Ok thanks for info. I will check it out when i get to sled.

carbs are cleaned she is running fine again! Also changed the coils and plugs while I was at it. 2 of the coils were shot. I was hoping this would have fixed the running condition problem it did help a lot but it still ran pretty bad.

Now that thats done comon seat! Its out for delivery today, I plan on putting it on tonight. The seat is off just waiting for the new foam and cover to
arrive!

I got the kit today, its very good quality

I put the cover on and It seems fine but there are wrinkles in the top of the seat I cannot get out. I do not have it completely stapled down yet but enough to get it real secure

Do you think I could put a towel and an iron on this to smooth out the wrinkles? Or maybe a hair dryer?

I put it in the dryer on low as the instructions suggest and I have it about as tight as I can get it. The sides get tighter as I pull on it but it does not effect the top. Pulling the front or back doesn't seem to matter either.

Just looking for a little advice. Maybe the wrinkles will go away after some riding, I am not sure I have never done this before. I can live with it but if I can make it better I would like to

Other than the top of the seat it all looks real good to me

Thanks! here she is in all her glory!

I was able to get it tighter on the top of the seat, helped somewhat.

Really happy with it. Also glad I went with a new cover the quality is top notch and I think it updates the whole look of the sled

So quick report back, I got around 250 miles on the seat this past week. It's surprising as with the 2.5" riser, it now feels normal, which is what I was going for. I don't feel like I have ape hangers on for handlebars. My knees are bent comfortably, and my arms are parallel with the ground. I love it.

I am finding I was sliding forward a bit more. So the new seat cover may have cured that as the factory cover is a bit slippery. Especially with a touch of snow or frost as expected.

All in all, a great investment!

Good luck guys

Glad its working out for you!

I have a total of about 1/4 mile on mine since we are still waiting for rideable snow here. I was able to test it out up and down the dirt road at my cabin and it will work fine. The seat top is not slippery at all I am glad I went with the complete seat kit

Finally was able to put a few miles on the new seat this past Saturday.

Its really nice. love it.

I do really like the new cover and the material, the way its grippy really makes a huge difference

thanks

I like the looks of my factory seat, so my debate is to get just the foam or the foam and seat cover. Biffdotorg what’s your thoughts ?

I did seat install with stock cover. I was sliding up a little . I put the 3"riser on and now I don't notice as much sliding as before. I had to put throttle cable behind brake hose and under bar. Definitely worth doing.
