Just purchased an 09 Nytro XTX and am trying to decide here in the off season what is the best option to add to the sled for extra storage.
was thinking the skinz tunnel bag was a good option but i see alot of people have the yami rear seat bags and tank bags.
what are you guys using or suggest getting to have a little extra place to put things while riding???
thanks in advance!!

I went with the accessory windshield (w/side deflectors) and the windshield bag (the bigger of the two offered). If I need more storage I will wear a back pack.

tank bag is the only way for me. awsome fit/finish, but would bet it wont fit over a trail tank. holds 8 beverages easy and never even shakes them

thanks for the replies!! sounds like the tank bag is a good way to go!! coming from riding doos for the last 8 years i have become partial to the tunnel bag however not sure how that would work on the Nytro with the exhaust right there.

I found that the tank bag got in the way when I stood up an rode. I switched to a back pack.

I have the small trunk bag from Yamaha , i like it however if you are shorter ( i am 6'1") you will catch your foot on it when its full and you are switchin sides a lot, i catch it the odd time more usually when i get tired, not a big deal as i can take it off in 2 mins if i don't wish to take it.

The Yamaha tank-bag is awesome. I've had mone on the sled since I got it new. It's the first time I've ever used a tank-bag while sledding, as I've alwys found them intrusive, but this one is like it's meant to be there.
Only downside is that it won't work with the trail tank.
I can't understand how anyone can ride with a back pack.

Why wont it? The tank bag I have has a loop that goes over the filler neck and 2 adjustable straps that connect at the toe holds...should fit the same as it would with a stock tank...do you have a different version?

Shaddow it hooks on the tank cover wings (black sections) that the trail doesnt have. I have the combination tank bag and thats how the front is held on anyways...

I'm with Zakre, the small trunk bag came with my Yamaha and I really like it. Same point though....you will catch the bag once and while when switching sides during countersteer powder turns, but regular trail driving....almost never.
I'll one up Zakre on the removal.....15 seconds!

Ahh, ok...I just have the basic tank bag that has the map pouch on top...it would work with the trail tank, takes 3 seconds to put it on...it works great and holds alot of stuff.

Yeah, that one would work with the trail tank, but it's not as comfortable as the one that we're talking about. The bag we have is specific to the Nytro, fits there great, is really unobtrusive, and holds a ton of gear. It doesn't get in the way at all, standing or sitting. I don't know how I'd get by day to day without it.

I got curious last night and looked in the accessory book...you can really see the difference...I do know that mine is fine for sit down but can be in the way for stand up riding. Newf, could post a better pic of yours, and maybe show how much room it has to carry stuff...I may switch but need to see better pics than what the book shows
