I put a set of the Tuning Fork Billet wheels on my XTX. This weekend I was going over the sled before a ride and I see both small wheels on one side have dents in them. I see they discontinued the Tuning Fork wheels on their website. Has anyone else had an issue with them? I know they will tell me normal wear and tear but does anyone think Yamaha would warrany them? What a crock, all that money for some bling and they bent already.

Is it just that product thats having this issue? Cause I was planning on buying some billet wheels, but now that I read this I'm having seconds thoughts.

Same with one of the small ones for me as well. I inquired at the dealer and they wouldn't even attempt it, basically said that they wouldn't warrenty wheels, hifax, etc.

What about the billet wheels that have the rubber on them? Does that help when it encounters a big impact?

I have the tuning fork wheels on mine, and haven't had any problems at all. Mine do have the rubber on them though.

Alright very good to hear! Makes me feel more comfortable about buying the billet wheels
This is just my opinion why wouldnt you buy the wheels without the rubber around the wheels seems like it would tear the track up? ![4strokes :4STroke: :4STroke:](/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/4strokes.gif)

A lot of the tracks were delaminating, and some attributed that to the billet aluminum adhering to the rubber of the track...
I have never had any issues...
