Received my customer survey today. This is where I will voice my opinion, VERY STRONGLY, about the delivery process to the dealer.

My dealer took very good care of me throughout the process from the snow check order to actual arrival. Dealer had no control over the FIASCO Yamaha created during the shipping process. They were somewhat embarrassed over the whole thing.

Remember guys be kind to your dealer when you respond to the survey. I will give my dealer the highest marks possible for their professionalism, and show my displeasure towards YAMAHA !

I have owned 6 Yamahas since 2003 RX-1. I rode Arctic Cat for 30 years prior.
I hope Yamaha can clean up this years process and move on.

Just my opinion!

Am very happy with dealer. Took the survey and got the $50.00 for taking it on-line.

As far as Yamaha, yes it has been frustrating for some, but think about the huge endeavor this must have been for Yamaha. Boeing did not did not foresee a battery causing all those problems on an otherwise aeronautical marvel.

We made the decision to go for it. Have many sled friends that always say that they would never go with a first year sled but for us I guess it is part of the love of the sport.

It's a great sled, were going to enjoy it and look forward to the next one so we can start all over again!

Our issues weren't with yamaha it was with a dealer snow checking sleds then bailing because the deals he made didn't work for him

Mike,

Great insight! Been there done that x10. Two corporate cultures also complicate every question, problem or issue resolution.

My big issue that I will hammer Yamaha on the survey is...the dealer got the sled around Dec.9th and I picked it up on Dec.16th. The problem is there is still no MSO form so I cant register it yet. I sent Yamaha a message on FB (no response), I called Yamaha corporate (no answer to where the MSO is) and all the dealer said is "we'll let you know when we get it". This is very disappointing. The sled is all set, we have snow and I cant ride it.

Anybody else waiting on this MSO form?

when I did my survey I told them how great it was to deal with port Yamaha, and then I went off about the poor quality of a lot of things, don't get me wrong I love the sled, just small stuff that pissed me off like screws for hood missing the clips and just being into the plastic, screws over tightened in other spots that pulled through plastic, loose hose clamps, cheap torx hardware that strips, loose bolts in the skid frame. I love the sled but I was assured by reps at demo ride last feb that everything would be of Yamaha quality and it isn't. I am used to this as I bought 2 firecats new in 03. lol

viper

picked the sled up last week still waiting for the mso and the sled has a bad shock that needs to replaced.still not able to ride.

Our only complaints about the sled / process really is the fact the LTX SE has NO windshield is freezing to ride and there are NO accessory windshields available until late January from what we have been told calling around. This means most likely and unfortunately the Viper will remain parked over xmas holidays and dad will ride our spare 1200 Doo. This may sound petty but -25*c is nothing to sneeze at and you need good protection. The other small gripes are the restarting issue after a stop, and the stripped fasteners and leaking coolant.

The dealer our Viper came from only brought in two because they terrified him. (being built by cat)
