Yamaha suspension engineers give setup tips.

"Or maybe just spend the $4 and buy the issue?"

Rightly so...lol. I am truley not that lazy/cheap I just cannot seem to find any mags around where I live that have anything on Nytro settup.

I would if I could find one, have not seen on the shelf yet up here.

I posted this after working 11-7 am so I was dead tired.
The mag has tips for the other brands also.

Here is a few of the better tips.
I take this article was for the rear of the RTX.

Ride height is recommended to be 16-22 mm gap at the coupler block with rider ON the sled.

3 way spring adjuster changes the gap.Softer or firmer as needed.

Ride the sled and adjust again after some miles or more than 1 tankful and less than 3.

Compression-The suspension should bottom sometimes so adjust shock compression screw until it does.If you do bottom at stiffest settings you need a stiffer spring.

Rebound-Less makes the sled want to throw you off and too much will be too harsh as it doesn't rebound fast enough and it will be stiffer when you hit moguls one after the other.

Not word for word but my interpretation.

Why can't we get set up suggestions before the season starts?

How come the magazing guys get the setup tips and not the actual sled owners?

I think the ride height measurement off the rear coupler block is bunk. They should have provided adjustable couple blocks in the first place! IMO, they did not because it was a copy of the Polaris system and would have been patent infringement.

Dealerships should have a suspension setup DVD now from Yamaha. I talked to someone the other day and Dealerships should have them or should just be getting them. These disks are for the dealerships but I believe they can be ordered for consumer use.
