And they had Doo suspensions in them I was told. They will have the package as before but can the new crew decipher it?
Shows my age, but same idea as the GPX. Very few GPX’s even made the final at pro races. My 340 would easily win 340, top 3 in 400 and top 3 in 440 depending on the track length. It even won 340 mod when they allowed it to run in 4 classes. We beat the factory prepared stock Thunder Jets – it took 4 laps on a ½ mile track to catch them, I think it was the single pipe that slowed them. However they did have a better clutch and carbs and well better everything.
Yamaha had the design right – they just assembled the GPX wrong. It was wicked fast with the STOCK engine. Same with this new snocross sled. It’s there I’m sure – they just need it assembled right to race.
Even the 2000 SXR’s – the clutch is good, not SKI DOO good but OK, after you put the internal parts in the right place.
