Just like to let everyone know that we won the 2004 Dakota Shoot Out this weekend, it was a run what ya brung class & we won it with our 2004 Viper S!

Thanks guys, it felt good to finally win on a YAMAHA this season! Made all the work on Friday night to get it ready, after struggling with it the weekend before, well worth it!

Congrats! What were you running against mostly?

Trekkr, in order to qualify for Sunday's $500 shoot out bonus money you had to qualify on Saturday. There was one 2000 ZRT 1000 Pro Stk, one 1997 Ski Doo Mach 1 Improved Stock, two 2003 F7's (stock, just trying to get some of the added purse), and myself with the 2004 Viper S improved stock. We won our 1st & 2nd round on Saturday. On Sunday one F7 dropped out and it was the 03 F7, the 97 Mach 1, the 00 ZRT, and myself in lanes 1 through 4 for the final. The F7 got a good light and was out front for a short bit. The end results were myself in 1st, the 03 F7 in 2nd, the 00 ZRT in 3rd, and the 97 Mach 1 in 4th.

Ryan, we won't be going to Brainerd this weekend. We have a race in Yankton which is only 30 miles from our house with almost $3000 prize money.
