My riding buddy has the Mach 1000 SDI. With a few things done to it.
They are very fast. But seem to have alot of problems. They stopped making them in 06.
Depending on conditions its a riders race, He has studs, I dont.
There are a few mods that will help wake up your 03, exhaust mods, clutching, intake, Any weight you can lose form the sled, and make sure your suspension is setup correctly. Look at Kachess thread for Ideas at losing some weight.

I have 4 bud,s with an 05-07 Mach Zs. In 5 k miles one is on his 3rd rebuild & the others have all been done at least once. Tuned ones are wicked fast & most of the others are poorly set up. I have seen em all over the place except my buds which are hardcore tuners & theres are all fast.If your bud has his tuned well your gonna get sliced diced & chopped.
Thanks besides exhaust what kind of weight reduction I did put 192 studs in it after all if you can't get it to the ground it don't matter what you have under the hood I was looking at the skid people put one from other manufacturers in it but which one is easyist to install can you beat your bursts mach z or do I still need more HP or will the weight reduction do it thanks again
Seeing how I live about 1 1/2 hour away I should take it simons and see what he can do my buddy does do most of his own work execpt sync carbs so what I have to hope for is he ain't that good at tuning what about the yamcharger I've read the numbers about it but I would like the real world numbers before I drop $2000+ on it thanks for the help guys

I don't believe you can get a Yamahcharger for a RX1, only Apex's.

The Yam-Charger is not currently available for the RX but You should give Jeff at Simon's CPR a call (414)698-6611, I know he has an induction kit and clutching for the RX-1. A friend of mine had his set up and it was very strong, Probably as good as it will get short of a Turbo and i am sure he would be able to take care of you in the Turbo department also if you would want to go there. kviper
Thanks for you responses I'm hopeing simons will help me get set up right so I can beat him but now I just want some snow
