For those of you that have the ZBroz front end installed, be sure to check the nuts that secure the spindle to the a arm. Twice now I have had that nut come loose and fall off while riding. both times at high speeds! The nut was torqued down tightly and secured with RED Loctite both times and it still worked its way loose! I really like the performance of the ZBroz front end but I wish they had put a cotter pin at the end of these bolts. Has anyone else experienced this?

can you use a nyloc nut??? thats some scary stuff to happen..
The nut that holds it on is starting to dig into the spindle. It's almost burrowing into it. I needed to use a washer to keep nut from going any further. Still, it was plenty tight and I even had a jam nut up against it before the main nut. the main nut was indeed a nyloc nut already. So a torqued, nyloc nut using red Loctite. After the first time this happened I would pull over every 10 miles to check it to make sure it wasn't coming loose again. After a while I got complacent and would not check it. Sure enough it happened again! Each time I was running full speed and coming into a turn, I would let off the throttle, the sled would slow down, then BAM!! the front end nose dives to the right. Both times it was on pretty hard packed trails so the sled simply slid to a stop. Point here is to never assume your front end or anything else for that matter is tight. I'll be sure to check this before I go out everytime now. I'm sure had a I checked it before I went out I would have noticed it was loose and probably could have avoided it. Still think a cotter pin would be nice here.

Any room left to do that yourself with existing bolt or get 1 just a bit longer to modify?
Not use the jam nut?
Good luck there, keep it safe for sure!
If there was room I would have done it the last time it happened but there even with jam nut out its just not there.
local dealer was selling that front end to all his nytro customers. every kit has that nut back off or fall off. i was so impressed with that kit a brought a CR front end instead. would have gone with mtn tech, but dollar exchange is so bad right now. your best bet would be like you said, drill it for cotter pin.
The front and really is great except for this little problem. Not sure why they haven't then sending them out with cotter pins at this point

The problem with that design is that the entire weight of that corner of the sled is borne by that nut. The ball joint is being used incorrectly. The ball joint should be mounted with the shaft facing the ground in the a arm and the spindle redesigned accordingly.
