Grimm said:Stoutner, where did you drill the holes for the front arm in comparison to the stock holes?
The front swingarm is mounted about 1" forward and 1" below the stock mounting.
download this picture, zoom in, and you can see the mounting bolt.

Jeff from AD Boivin is going to send me an updated kit for my suspension.
Thanks everyone for your opinions.

Good to hear they are taking care of you.

Jeff sent my new mount kit (ZX-63 Venture kit) and it fit very well. It took me 4 hours to do as I took my time and didn't want to make a mistake. I sure am glad that I bought a new rivet gun as my old one would not have done the job.
I did notice that the track is a bit closer to the tunnel protectors, but apparently this seems to be the status quo.
I hope to do a bit of testing on my new suspension this weekend...zoom zoom.

Took mine out for a short ride and this is the smoothest suspention that i have ever rode on . It takes out the dirt bumps that are usually very harsh . I think it is going to be great .

Tom-rx1 does yours compress hard jumping on the back but rides great or compresses easily and rides great?

It compesses fairly hard . drops down about an in. when i sit on it . softest setting and i weigh about 180 . its very smooth skis are a bounceing but can not feel the gofer mounds when the rear hits them . the proaction would bounce way up on thease . Right up to 90 mph don't feel nothing on the back . Over the road and through the ditch no bottoming . First impessions are IT'S GOING TO BE GREAT RIDE THIS YEAR . with the proaction I could not notice the skis being rough with the floats just the rear on the same type of surface . I would say the hay field is possibly the roughest thing after the first snow and it is smoothed right out .

Sorry Grizzly, but I was in such a rush to get the suspension in, I didn't even think of taking pictures. At this point, any pics I'd take wouldn't show the profile of the mount plate.
Needless to say, the plate will move the front arm mount point about 1 1/2 inches down and forward of the original hole similar to the RX1s that I've seen posted.
I was just tightening up my track and noticed that I needed to use up most of the adjustment available. I hope my track doesn't ratchet because I don't know how much more room I'll have in case I have to tighten my track. It could be that my old track has stretched so much already over the years. I wonder if anyone else has encountered this?
Another thing I'm concerned about is the track clip noise on the front of the rails. No matter how tight or loose I set the track tension, it makes an awful clicking noise when I run the track on a stand. I wonder if this will go away when I'm riding though. Anyone encounter this as well?

That's what I was hoping to hear. I did notice that when I put sled on the ground.

This statement makes a bunch of us feel much better!

Ya-- I was concerned about the clickety- clack too, but it makes sense-- being in the air

About the ZX-2 beeing though to compress - here's what I got from Jeff/ADBoivin by email a few days ago.
Let me know how it ride!
If it feel stiff for the first 100 miles, it is normal, let it take a set.
Talk to you later, Jeff
As I understand the ZX-2, it's firm by design for the initial period of operation, it will loosen up with some milage to it. Can't wait to ride it.

Xpert-X guys are saying the same thing - Give it a days riding before you judge the suspension.
