racemad55, did you remove the old drop brackets? Don't think it is necessary, but still thinking about it.
Also I stopped at Ace Hardware and picked up a couple of plastic auto plugs. They had just the right size push in stud to fit in the old suspension mounting hole. Cut the stud to 1/4" and popped them in, looks like they were made for the hole....
For the braket, you take them off at the beginning of the installation but you put them back at the end of the installation.

You guys are talking about the stock rear drop bracket / rear swingarm mounting plate, right?
I did remove it, saved like 2.8 lbs or 1.3 kgs or weight. I figured the ADBoivin tunnel reinforcement plate beeing strong enough to maintain the strength of the tunnel, so I took out the stock rear drop brackets, shown in the pic below
Also notice the crack in the heat exchanger, crack goes from the bottom of the heat exchanger and up 1/2" or 13 millimeter. It cracked along the edge of the rear suspension drop bracket. Man am I riding it hard LOL, with the ungroomed trails around here the stock suspension took some serious beating. Can't wait for my ZX-2 to smoothen out those trails
