Sold mine to Mightywarrior, to damn loud for me. Made BIG improvement in mid and top end. You WILL need to add clutch weight to keep rpm in ideal range.
Cold air kit is a joke. Just remove the blocker plate on front frame. FYI cold air kit is not compatabale with front bag.
Well I bought the "new" designed mirrors for the Attak. Dealer installed them per Yammi diresctions...... Guess what!!!!!!!! They are useless. Don't have a good adjustment range. Are blocked by knees and fore arms, really a poor answer. Save your money. I anm going back to the powermadd...
I have been using ther new Yammi modular all season. Love it. I put the heated shield on before evn using it, so can't comment on its performance without it. Lots of vents, and accepts comminicators well. At $285.00 plus electric shield not a cheapie.
How does your responce relate to Simmons skis? While I agree with your statement it does not seem to fit ar add to the post. Maybe start a thread about that issue if you wish. zeeeech, some peoples kids.
I have used mine for 1,000 miles now. It does allow the machine to rev to 11,200 rpm. So some clutch weight is needed. I saw an additional 6 mph on top end as compaired to the stock box. But is LOUD, so LOUD that I have removed it from the sled. I enjoy the quiet smooth for stroke blend. But...
I bought both kits from fix. I don't think that the cold air induction would work with the front bag IMHO. The Ram air kit looks like a stock air box cover with the ridged areas removed (cut out) and some plastic grating added along with the hair net type material.
The $299.00 is the ram air...
I have been happy with it so far. The cold air induction is really just removing the blocker platefrom the frame in the front storage area, and installing a hair net type material over the lower hood inlet.
But hey, maybe the next guy won't be happy with it. Kind of like a aftermarket clucth. lol
I like the Attak much better for long days. We average 200 ~ 250 miles per day. The Warrior was not bad (heaven compaired to SRX platform). But really effeced me in the tail bone area (tender as hell) the Attack shows none of that.
It took me a little time to get use to the narrower seat on...
Snowdog,
She could give them some advise and in State agent contact. But inorder to sell/service policys in any state the agent HAS to lic. in that State.
Re: Umbrella Policy
It is a policy that kicks in AFTER your Home, Auto, ect is exhausted. Lets say you get sued for 2.5 mil (or what ever) and you only have 500k or 1 mil coverage, thats where a umbrella kicks in. Or in our case if you have a sled crash and someone is killed or crippleled...
Ohhh yea thats it. And I tought it was because you can stay on the stick father into the turn, which at least in my experience has resulted in better speed thru the turn. But what the hell was I thinking, it nust have been beca=use I had NO choice.
I am with Dirk too.
I prefer the engine braking. While it takes a bit of getting used too. Once you "learn to ride" with it, it is a big advantage IMHO. I am sure that I go through a turn faster as a result of the engine braking advantage. I motor deeper into the turn before having to...
