After checking the good suggestions posted here...... It was under the drink holder in the front nose under the tool kit..... a single wire, blue with black stripe had been innocently rubbing on the right hand side on a flat metal bracket and had...

It was under the drink holder in the front nose under the tool kit..... a single wire, blue with black stripe had been innocently rubbing on the right hand side on a flat metal bracket and had just worn through the covering....
I taped it up and tie...
It's now done it twice in one week.....
It does it on start-up... but not every time.
Anyone know where or what to check? I was considering putting in either a 15A or 20A fuse.... but that's not a solution, just a bandaid that may bite me.

I thought this was a thread on clutching, and a couple of posters asked FXR F7 a couple of questions about products he's trying to promote and sell on this board...... well, that and his websic site.

I guess he'll have to put on whatever dopey the dealer will support, even if it isn't what's safely optimum!
If he ever had any warrantee track or skid related issue...and he had put what folks in here have used "tried and true".... dopey the dealer...
A buddy of mine just purchased an 06 Vector GT. Sweet looking sled!!!
He'd asked me what I would recommend for studding, and I suggested 144 down the center using Woodies double backers alternated with singles. His dealer refused to install them..... claiming "the track would balloon with all...
Simich, not sure on the math conversion or the cross border costs you've included onto the US sled, but $1400 sounds excessive.
Now if the dollar goes to .90US, that might be a consideration...
still the warrantee on a grey market sled would be a pita for sure.
