Like everyone, its because of the reverse gear and normal. If you did it with the chaincase off, you'd see where and why there is play.

I wouldn't worry. It sounds like a combination of a brand new sled, tight track and low snow. Things will loosen up in a few miles and be sweet. Like the quick roostie tail though, she's got some snnnnnnap eh? ;)!

I chimed in.... 8) (REVfreak). I still have a REV600X in the shed, and it's a great sled, but it doesn't compare to my new Yamaha.

My only point in all of this was the notion of a stock sled going 124 mph. And by stock, I also mean set up to ride trails, not lowered, with speed tracks, etc.

These F7 guys crack me up. They have the worst case of "small man" syndrome I've ever seen. No one is saying they're not fast, but alot of these guys act like the sled is invincible. I have every confidence that the Apex will suck up an F7 pretty handily, all things being equal. The Mach Z...
